Zakynthos is the 3rd largest island in the Ionian Sea, off the west coast of Greece. It is also known as Zante and is a lush island with many beaches. Zakynthos Town is the capital and has a harbour and piazza as well as the museum dedicated to poet Dionysis Solomos. With your car hire Zakynthos you can explore the pretty village and port of Agios Nikolaos or the village of Keri with its blue caves and lighthouse. Also worth a visit is the shipwreck at Porto Viomi and the beaches of Kalamaki, where you can swim and dive, or just sunbathe.
