Menorca is smaller than Mallorca and Ibiza and is known for its charm and natural beauty. There are more beaches in Menorca than the two islands combined, just two favourites are Son Bou and Cala Bregonda. Mahon or Mao is a port town with a natural harbour and 18th century Georgian buildings. You can take a harbour cruise and visit the La Mola Fortess or sample the local gin at the Xoriguer Gin Distillery. Drive out to the highest point on the island, Monte Toro with your car hire Menorca and see panoramic views. Afterwards, head to the small fishing village of Fornells, where there are excellent seafood restaurants.
