Basel Guide
Take a walk around the cobbled streets of the old town and see the Romanesque Cathedral and the Renaissance Town Hall at the Marktplatz. There are museums galore with everything from doll’s houses to contemporary art. Stroll along the promenade along-side the River Rhine and then head to Claraplatz and have a snack at one of the coffee shops there. Look out for statues of the Basilisk, a mythical dragon that protects the city. Explore the area further with you car hire Basel and visit the Black Forest and Alsace wine region.

From the city, it is a 15 minute drive using the A35 and A3.

In the French sector, short stay parking is available at F1,F2 and F3. Car parks F5 and F6 are long stay and have 2990 spaces in total. In the Swiss sector, there is short stay parking at S1,S2 and S5 and long stay parking at S3 and S4 with 1625 spaces.
