Lihue Airport Guide
There’s not a huge amount of things to do around Lihue apart from enjoying the spectacular beaches, picturesque countryside and the shopping in town. The beaches are your typical tropical island paradise whilst the more active can learn to surf; the less energetic can soak up the sun with a good book. If you’re interested in the agricultural and industrial history of Lihue, visit the Kilohana Plantation where you can tour the estate by narrow gauge railway, see a small exhibition on the history of the land and dine in the nice restaurant there.
