Tampere Airport Guide
Tampere is on the shores of Lake Nasijarvi and an inland city. Staring at Keskustori Square in the centre of the city, you can explore the cafes and shops along Hameenkatu and visit the Church of Alexander and Tampere Art Gallery. Within a few kilometres of the city, there is the Tammerkoski Rapids and you can also see Pyynikki Ridge. Pispala has a huge public sauna, if you want to do as the locals do or you can visit the spa town of Nokia. Take a boat trip out to Viikinsaari Island, a nature reserve where you can swim and picnic. If you fancy some skiing, head for the resort of Sapee, with your car hire Tampere.
