Keflavik Airport Guide
Keflavik is a small town, with its colourful houses and fishing boats and the quaint church at Nordfjordsgata. You can also take a 3 hour whale watching trip from the harbour and see dolphins and orcas as well as humpback whales. There is much to explore out of town with your car hire Keflavik including the famous ‘Blue Lagoon’ thermal spa. Here you can relax and float in the mineral waters or swim and take a steam bath, whilst chatting with the locals. There are nature reserves to explore nearby and the waterfalls and geysers at Gullfoss. The city of Reykjavik is also a short drive away.

The airport is just 3 km outside of Keflavik using the highway 41 or Reykjanesbraut. This route will also take you to Rekyavik and Rekyavik Airport if you have a domestic flight to catch.

There are two short term car parks within walking distance of the terminal and the long term car park is a little bit further out. There are also facilities for indoor parking, should this be required.
