Bergen Airport Guide
Bergen is the 2nd largest city in Norway and ‘gateway to the fjords’. It is surrounded by mountains and was once capital of Norway. Its most famous attraction is the old harbour of Bryggen with its wooden houses, which are a UNESCO world heritage site. The city is also known for its culture and has its own Opera House and National Theatre as well as the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. You can visit the Bergen Art Museum and the Hanseatic Museum or the Bergenhus Fortress. The city has a strong cafe culture too, so you can just sit and watch all the visitors to the touristy fish market.
