East London Airport Guide
Over half the arrivals at East London Airport are tourists and they are pleasantly surprised by this bustling little airport that’s important to the economy of the city. Facilities are few but still adequate and you’ll find all you need in the airport’s small shop whilst those who are hungry won’t be disappointed by the airport’s café. There are a number of ways of getting into the city but the most popular is the collection of hire cars from the arrivals hall desks.
East London Airport Directions
The airport is west of the city and it’s easy to get into the centre of East London by following Settler’s Way east all the way into the centre. If you can’t find the name, look out for the R72, it’s the same road.
East London Airport Parking
You’ll find over 500 parking spaces onsite and also a little distance from the airport with a full range of options. The less able are well catered for and there’s a call button by the reserved parking for you to summon assistance.
East London Airport Flight InformationAs with many South African airports, East London relies on feeder flights from the bigger airports. There are no international flights but you can get to East London from the UK and Europe by connecting at Durban, Cape Town or Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport.
