Algeciras Guide
So what can you do in your couple of days in Algeciras? The city has begun a move away from industry to tourism and promotes bird watching trips to Tarifa to watch the migratory birds in spring and autumn. Storks, flamingos, geese, swallows and more pass through this westernmost migration route. If you’re not a twitcher then spend your time whale watching on a boat trip out into the bay or simply walk around the beautiful Plaza Alta or spend an afternoon in the historic San Isidro district sipping a cool drink after photographing the delicate Moorish architectural features.
