Benicarlo Guide
Benicarlo has many low key attractions for the visitor including boat trips from the marina out into the Mediterranean where you can fish or just enjoy a trip up and down the coast. On land, the former convent of St Francis was converted into the town’s museum in 1995 called the Mucbe. If you want to find out more about the city and its colourful history then spend a few hours looking at the exhibits. For entertainment, the city has an open air auditorium which regularly hosts music and drama performances whilst Benicarlo is also renowned as a great place to sample traditional Catalan food including delicious fresh seafood.
Benicarlo Directions
The airport is 102 km northeast of Benicarlo. If you’re considering hiring a car to make the journey then the best road is the coastal E15 which takes you straight into Benicarlo.
Benicarlo Parking
Be careful at the airport for of the two car parking areas, P1 is used only by rental agencies and airport employees. The car park P2, found just a little further away has 513 spaces for general short and long term parking and has 15 spaces for the disabled.
Benicarlo Flight InformationReus Airport is almost solely a seasonal one with only a single daily flight to Palma in winter. In summer it comes alive with dozens of chartered flights as well as scheduled flights from the biggest operator Ryanair. Flights can be taken from almost all UK international airports so getting to Reus and on to Benicarlo won’t be a problem.

Depending on your budget you’ll have plenty to choose from; the Apartamentos Marynton at Del Grau is at the budget end of the price scale whilst at the Parador de Benicarlo on the Avenida Papa Luna you’ll find opulent luxury and one of the town’s finest restaurants.
