Benidorm Guide
Benidorm is geared to fun and everything is based around its beaches. There are two fabulous beaches; Levante and Poniente with the latter having recently undergone a multi-million euro revamp including a fabulous boardwalk. The beaches have Blue Flag Awards and plenty of facilities for those who don’t want to spend all day reading a book. Elsewhere there are waterparks, go-karting and animal parks. You’ll find little in the way of culture in Benidorm but just a few kilometres out of the resort you’ll reach Altea, a beautiful old town.
Benidorm Directions
The airport is 45 km southwest of Benidorm. Take the E15 from the airport in a north-easterly direction and within half an hour you’ll be enjoying the holiday fun of Benidorm.
Benidorm Parking
You won’t find it difficult to park at Alicante Airport for there are over 2,700 spaces in a recently constructed multi-storey car park designed to keep the interiors of the cars cool. The parking facility is only a minute’s walk from the terminal doors too.
Benidorm Flight InformationAlicante Airport is very big serving nearly ten million passengers last year. It has a range of seasonal and year round scheduled and charter flights and most regional airports in the UK have flights to Alicante. Both Ryanair and easyJet operate flights to Alicante accounting for over half of its total flights.
Hotels Near Benidorm Airport
There are hundreds of hotels in Benidorm and years ago the cheaper ones would have been only just acceptable. In becoming more of an upmarket resort, Benidorm’s cheaper hotels have had a revamp and good ones to use belong to the Servigroup, dotted around the city. More upmarket, you’ll enjoy the Pierre and Vacances Hotel found in a huge tower near the beach.
