Castellon Guide
Castellon has a lot for the visitor to see and much of it is in the unusual buildings. The city walls were destroyed centuries ago and the stones used for more buildings but the cathedral exists in a new form following destruction during the civil war. The 15th century bell tower of the cathedral which stands separate to the building itself is the icon of the town and you get a good view of Castellon from the top. Out of the city, the Desert of the Palms mountain range is a great place to explore by hire car for its unusual scenery and terrain.
