Cordoba Guide
One of the most magnificent sights in the city is the Mezquita, a former mosque which is now a cathedral. It rivals Granada’s Alhambra for beauty in its architecture and its uniqueness and is a must see for all visitors to the city. The old city which includes the famous Jewish Quarter is a mine of treasures with a Roman bridge, a wonderful Alcazar which, although beautiful in itself, is more noted for the stunning gardens that it is located in. For some quiet contemplation, spend time in the Plaza del Potro where Don Quixote stayed in Cervantes book
Cordoba Directions
Ryanair and easyJet fly into Seville’s San Pablo Airport from Gatwick and Stansted so getting to the region should be cheap and easy. It’s over a hundred kilometres from the airport to Cordoba but with a hire car the route is straight and fast along the A4 east.
