Irun Guide
There’s not too much of note to recommend Irun to tourists although the fragmentary remains of Oiasso are of interest to some. Its popularity lies in its location where people staying in the city have the choice of trips to the western Pyrenees, beautiful San Sebastian or can venture over the border to France and enjoy the beaches of Biarritz. A favourite of tourists visiting the town is the annual Alarde procession which recreates an event from the Peninsular War.
