Las Palmas Airport Guide
Las Palmas has been around now for over 550 years and the city is full of the buildings and monuments that have marked its development. Begin at the Santa Ana Cathedral which is the icon of the city and visible from most parts of it. Inside, the high vaulted ceilings and contrasts of dark wood and whitewashed walls make it a relaxing and austerely beautiful building. If you want to continue your trip through history, walk through the quiet streets of Vegueta, the oldest part of Las Palmas followed by a trip to Triana which, despite its age, is now the main commercial part of the city.
