Marbella Guide
The Orange Square is a famous and historic part of the old town where Moorish buildings surround an area that’s filled with flowers and orange trees. The square leads into the old Moorish/Arab part of the city where you’ll feel a world away from modern, brash Marbella. Marbella is a great place for those that want to indulge a love of sport. Tennis is played all year round whilst there are enough golf courses to try a different one each day during your stay. In winter, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility to visit the Sierra Nevada ski resort for the day from the city.

Hotels Near Marbella Airport
Marbella used to be the haunt of the cheap package tour hotels but a concerted effort to move upmarket over the last decade has left it with fabulously refurbished luxury hotels which will set you back a small fortune. The five star Puente Romano costs over 500 euros a night but includes personal concierge services. More down to earth is Melia La Quinta Golf Resort but even that will set you back 150 euros a night!
