Nerja Guide
Nerja has a lot to offer the visitor and it’s unlikely you’ll not find something you enjoy there. Historians can spend some time in the Nerja Caves which are also a good place for amateur speleologists as it’s believed that only a fraction of the cave system has been discovered. Elsewhere the dramatic Nerja Aqueduct provides some great photo opportunities. If you like the water then a snorkel or better still, scuba diving expedition, in the marine nature reserve will reward the effort with plenty of underwater life. And when you’re hungry at the end of the day, sample some of the many seafood restaurants that dot Nerja’s waterfront.
Nerja Directions
Two airports are almost equidistance from Nerja but by far the best one to choose for tourists from the UK is Malaga Airport. Granada is mainly a domestic airport and requires changes to get to it whilst Malaga Airport has many charter flights and budget scheduled flights which, as well as giving various route options from the UK, also reduces prices. Getting to Nerja from Malaga is also easier with the coastal A7/E15 proving a quick and easy route in under 45 minutes.
