Orense Guide
Despite being a commercial city, there are a number of interesting attractions in Orense. There are plentiful Roman remains with the Roman Bridge the most popular despite being only a small part original. The city has a very interesting cathedral in the 12th century building dedicated to St Martin. It was declared a National Monument in 1931 and is renowned for its Romanesque architecture and quietly beautiful interior. Elsewhere, the natural hot spring spa called ‘Las Burgas’ attract many who come to bathe in or drink the mineral rich hot water.
