Oviedo Guide
Oviedo has a wonderful old quarter called the Casco Antiguo where the authorities have spent millions renovating and preserving the old buildings. The cobbled streets add to the authenticity of the neighbourhood and it’s there that you’ll find two of the city’s prized attractions; the Velarde Palace and the Cathedral of San Salvador. The city has many festivals and celebrations during the year and if you’re there for any length of time you’re sure to be caught up in one.
