Roquetas de Mar Guide
There is very little to do in Roquetas de Mar apart from simply enjoy its wonderful beaches. There are several of them with immaculate golden sands and clean water. Behind the beach is what is known as the ‘Green corridor’ an area of natural vegetation that has been left in place to help preserve the biodiversity of the resort. This theme continues in the Puntas Etinas National Park to the west of the resort which is a marshland habitat full of wading and migratory birds and is popular with visiting European twitchers. The Cabo Gata Nijar is another biodiversity reserve, this time attracting snorkelers who will see myriad beautiful fish in the waters offshore.
