Torremolinos Guide
The days of 18-30 holidays, mass drunkenness and Union Jack shorts are disappearing into bad memories now as Torremolinos has cleaned up its image. It’s still about fun and the beach, sun and sea but now the beach is perfectly manicured, the sea is clean and the fun is now part of nightly entertainment in five star hotels. For those that want a little more from their holidays, there are Roman ruins around Torremolinos as well as the traditional fishermen’s quarter La Carihuela. There are also many traditional and religious festivals celebrated in the town to which everyone is welcome.
