Vitoria Guide
Vitoria is well known for its architecture and historical buildings and a good place to start is with a street map in the old quarter. There you’ll happen across the Cathedral of Santa Maria which is considered very special in the region. You can book guided tours of the cathedral on its website. You should also pay the four euros for a guided tour of the community inspired street level art that permeates the district telling the story of the different communities throughout the neighbourhood. Finally, if you’re in Vitoria at the end of April, try to get to see the San Prudencio Festival which is accompanied by music and plenty of local food and drink.
