Berkeley Guide
There are plenty of cultural things to see and do when in Berkeley. A favourite of many is the 90 minute tour of the university campus which culminates in a climb to the top of the campanile tower which gives sweeping views out over the bay.
The university’s botanical garden is also a good place to visit; combining research, history and simply beautiful plants, it’s home to over 12,000 species and is a great venue for relaxation.
If you’re interested in model railways then Tilden Park is a must. There’s a permanent track laid out so fans can bring their own locomotives and watch them fly.
