Billings Airport Guide
Billings has a lot for the visitor to see and do, much of it historic or natural. For a bit of American history visit Pompey’s Pillar which marks the site of Custer’s last stand at the Battle of Little Bighorn. The visitor centre there really brings the story to life. From Billings it’s possible to visit the Yellowstone National Park easily and many use the city as a hub. Just take the Beartooth Highway and you’ll enter the park within a couple of hours. For the kids, there are a number of country based theme parks where they can experience Montanan life from a hundred or more years ago. Whoopah Ride and Pappy’s Adventures are two of the best with daily shows as well as rides.

There are plenty of short term and longer term parking spaces at Billings, over 500 to be exact. All parking is chargeable – you’ll get no period of grace there but the parking is close to the terminal building.
Billings Airport Flight InformationBillings Airport is small and serves only domestic flights within the US. You’ll have to travel to an international airport to make a connection with Denver, Las Vegas or Salt Lake City being the closest. All of them have some flights from Europe and the UK so choose the cheapest and most convenient for you.
Hotels Near Billings Airport
For a bit of homespun hospitality and a traditional building, we like the Dude Rancher Lodge at $40 a night. Friendly owners and great Montanan food awaits you there. If you prefer modern to traditional, the Lexington Inn and Suites are a good bet at $60 a night and they’ve got a smart indoor pool at the hotel.
