Bloomington Guide
Bloomington’s main attraction is the wonderful natural scenery that surrounds the city. The Hoosier National Forest is often touted as the most beautiful in the US and is careful managed by the Forest Service to provide natural scenery where you can run, walk or cycle along miles of trails. Complementing it is Lake Monroe, the largest lake in Indiana which has several opportunities for water sport activities. It has several boat marinas including an 800 berth one at the Fourwinds Resort. Elsewhere people water-ski, canoe or simply swim in the clean waters. In the city, look out for the regular music and theatre performances linked to the Arts and Music Centres.
