Colorado Springs Airport Guide
Make sure you visit the National Park called the Garden of the Gods which has dramatic rock formations that local tradition says were formed to make a garden for the native Indian gods. It’s also a great place for rock climbing.
You can also see the mountain called Pike’s Peak which inspired the song ‘America the Beautiful’.
The city also has a Ghost Town Museum which incorporates an old gold mining town that was abandoned after the boom. If you fancy a bit of cowboy action, spend a day being a cowboy at the Flying W Ranch which, after a hard day in the saddle, puts on a cowboy meal and then a Wild West show before songs around the campfire.
