El Paso Airport Guide
It sounds a little strange but one of the most popular destinations for tourists in El Paso is to visit the Fort Bliss Army Base and even shop in its surplus stores!
For those interested in the ecology of the Texan desert, you can visit the Chihuahan Desert Gardens which have almost every kind of desert plant there that is found locally and you can see them without having to trek out into the desert heat. In the city, take a walk through the old downtown to see the colonial buildings that have survived the ravages of time to look very photogenic today.
