Flagstaff Airport Guide
Flagstaff itself is an interesting little city with a strong tradition of nationalist pride. Take a look at the flag pole that gave the city its name before heading out of the city to discover the unique sights of the region. The Grand Canyon is close by and you can take guided trips out of Flagstaff or book helicopter rides over it in the city. The Meteor Crater Park, again, within an hour of Flagstaff, is a fascinating visit as the hot and dry desert has left it in much the same condition as when the meteor crashed to earth millions of years ago.
Flagstaff Airport Directions
The closest airport to Flagstaff is its Pulliam Airport, around four miles south of the city. The airport takes only two flights from Phoenix so travellers from further afield will need to fly into Sky Harbor first. If you don’t want to make connections, you’ll find it’s a two hour drive from Sky Harbor to Flagstaff. Once you leave Flagstaff Airport, head north on route 17 which will take you directly into the south of the city.
