Harlingen Airport Guide
Harlingen itself has little to offer the tourist as it is only a little over a hundred years old and has few historic buildings of note. It’s outside the city that the true attraction is revealed for Harlingen is in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley. There’s a host of water sports on the river including canoeing, rafting, canyoning and more. Those that may not like the water can still hike the many miles of trails that follow the river. In spring, the trees in the valley turn it into a green oasis.
