Kissimmee Guide
Kissimmee is almost all about Disney with Walt Disney World only moments away from Kissimmee. It’s hard to get away from the glitz and hype and maybe you don’t want to but for those who aren’t fond of mice or ducks, try the many safaris into the Everglades to spot crocodiles and more. There’s plenty of adventure to be had with swamp buggy rides, airboats and on a more sedate level, bass fishing in Lake Tohopekaliga. Kissimmee also has an old town, with buildings a century old or more. To attract visitors, many events take place there at a weekend so see local flyers for details.

The Howard Johnson Express Inn is one of the cheapest hotels in Kissimmee whilst still getting a good standard of room. Expect to pay around $22 a night for a room there. We like the Lake Berkley Resort at Hapimag Orlando for excellent accommodation and still for only $38 a night.
