Long Beach Airport Guide
Apart from the beach, Long Beach has several world class attractions. Not far away is Disneyland whilst in Long Beach itself you’ll find the amazing Aquarium of the Pacific, one of the largest in the US and home to well over a thousand species. The Queen Mary, now a floating hotel, accepts visitors too and you can wander through its public areas seeing how the ship looked on its maiden voyage. For a taste of original Long Beach, the Rancho Los Cerritos was one of the original homes built here in 1844 and is set up as it was in the early days.
Long Beach Airport Directions
Take route 405 out of the airport and follow it southeast until you get to the intersection of route 710. Turn south on this and you’ll head straight into Long Beach.
Long Beach Airport Parking
There are over 10,000 spaces at Los Angeles Airport so finding a place to park won’t present any difficulties. The main parking area is a multi-level facility next to the airport with further long term facilities a little further away. Valet and executive valet parking is available as well as the customary cell phone waiting area where you can wait for up to 30 minutes for a passenger to call.
Long Beach Airport Flight InformationWhilst Long Beach has its own small regional airport it’s far more convenient to fly direct into Los Angeles and travel the 17 miles by hire car to the city. LAX has many flights from outside North America including several to Europe and the UK including Air New Zealand, BA and United.

You’ve simply got to spend at least a night on the Queen Mary, one of the world’s most famous ships and now a floating hotel. It’s surprisingly reasonable too with prices from only $50 a night. If you prefer to be on dry land, try the Long Beach Marriott with great service standards and facilities, it’ll cost you $90 a night.
