Myrtle Beach’s main attraction is its beach, part of the extensive strip of sand known as the Grand Strand which stretches many miles up and down the coast from Myrtle Beach. The area is heavily developed but for a taste of Myrtle Beach of the past, head to the State Park where in over 300 acres you’ll see the undeveloped environment but you can still stay there on the campsite. Myrtle Beach is also renowned for its many golf courses providing different levels of challenge to the keen golfer. It’s also high on the list of best miniature golf venues with the star attraction being the 36 hole Mount Atlanticus complex.

Virtually in the centre of Myrtle Beach, take the Highway 15 east and in a matter of minutes you’ll be on the seafront of Myrtle Beach.

Despite being a relatively small airport, Myrtle Beach International Airport has plenty of parking spaces. Arranged close to the terminal you’ll find short stay parking only a few steps away with longer stay parking just behind it. You can use the cell phone lot if you are in phone contact with your passenger and there are dedicated spaces for those less mobile.
