New Orleans Airport Guide
New Orleans is most famous for three things; the spring Mardi Gras during Holy Week when almost all of America seems to descend on the city for a week of riotous partying. Then there’s the jazz. It was home to Louis Armstrong and the early pioneers of the jazz tradition and almost everywhere in the city you’ll be within earshot of live jazz. Take some time to wander through the cemeteries of the city. If you’re lucky you’ll see one taking place where music and celebration of the person’s life is the key aspect, not the sorrow at their passing. Think the start of the Bond film, Live and Let Die and you’ll get the idea. Finally, eat out, as often as you can, for the food is divine in New Orleans.
