There’s a lot for everyone in Omaha and it has plenty of museums catering for almost every interest. Stake out the children’s museum which has many unusual interactive exhibits including a mock grocery store where they can play shopkeeper and several big science exhibits. For transport geeks there’s the Strategic Air and Space Museum with dozens of warplanes you can scramble over or the Union Pacific Museum which documents the rise of America’s largest transportation company. The city has many buildings on the National Register of Historic Buildings, despite being the ignominious holder of the record for biggest historical area bulldozed by any city.

Take Abbot Drive which leads from the airport skirting Carter Lake and it’ll join Cuming Street which takes you right into the heart of Omaha.

Over 8,000 spaces await you at Eppley Field Airport. They are split into short and long term onsite parking as well as economy offsite parking served by a shuttle bus. There’s Eppley’s version of valet parking too in what it calls the quick parking garage.
Omaha Airport Flight InformationThere are lots of flights to Eppley Airfield from all over the US and even though it has no direct flights from Europe and the UK it’s still easy to get to via Chicago, Atlanta and Charlotte for flights from the UK.
