Unusually, Pensacola allows access to the Naval Air Station and provides many attractions within it to appeal to visitors. The Blue Angels Aerobatic display team practise daily in summer and visitors are often treated to a free display by the team. For a taste of the history of the city, visit Fort Barrancas which still retains many of the remains of the French, Spanish and British forts on the site. Pensacola also has superb sugar crystal beaches which are a major draw for tourists, especially when married with the beautiful blue waters, a haven for fish and perfect for diving.
