Portsmouth Airport Guide
Portsmouth is a very historic city and the ‘Olde Towne’ is one of the most important collections of buildings from the colonial era on the east coast. You can take a boat trip over from Norfolk to the Olde Towne and see the old buildings from the water before walking through the historic neighbourhood which is much as it was in the 17th and 18th centuries. Elsewhere, the city has over seven miles of riverfront, partly industrialised, but in places where old warehouses have closed, the buildings have been converted to entertainment complexes and waterfront apartments, shops and restaurants.
Portsmouth Airport Directions
From the airport gates take Miller Store Road under the interstate 64 before turning off route 165 onto East Princess Anne Road following it southeast into the city centre. The airport has no flights from the UK or Europe but it’s very easy to connect to Atlanta or Chicago and get a flight to Norfolk from there.
