Richmond Airport Guide
Spend some time on Belle Isle, an island in the middle of the James River which has great walking and mountain biking trails. You can also swim from the shores of the island. Visit the strange sounding Shockoe Bottom, the historic part of Richmond which was badly damaged in flooding from recent hurricanes. Rebuilding and renovation is slowly beginning to bring the neighbourhood back to its former glory. Maymont Park is another great place for a walk with beautiful gardens, fountains and statues; it’s considered to be one of the finest urban parks in the US.
