Rutland Airport Guide
Rutland has a beautiful and historic Georgian downtown that is protected by the National Register. There, you can idle whilst marvelling at the red brick facades or visit the town museum to see how it developed. Just outside the town are the Rutland Falls where the city first began. There’s a massive railroad bridge above them and the site is littered with slabs of the marble for which the city was renowned. Skiing is popular in winter with Pico Mountain being the main resort nearby. In September, take some time to see the Vermont State Fair held on the city’s racetrack.
