Santa Barbara Airport Guide
Santa Barbara as a whole is beautiful. Local ordinances mean that all buildings must be constructed in the mission style and it looks much like it might have done over a hundred years ago. The county courthouse is a very unusual building designed as a castle with Spanish/Moorish architecture and is tiled with Tunisian ceramics. The Mission building, the tenth to stand on the site, is another architectural gem and a historic one too having seen much of the tragedy that has befallen this region in the last 250 years. For beach life, choose the picture perfect East Beach with its glorious white sand and palm fringed promenade.
