State College Airport Guide
State College’s chief draw is the Pennsylvania State University. It’s one of the largest in the US with over 80,000 students and you can wander around the campus at your leisure looking at the fine old buildings and many modern ones too. The students of the university spill out in mid-summer to present the city’s Festival of the Arts, a rousing and riotous affair accompanied by music, food and drink. The city is also renowned for its Independence Day fireworks which attract people from all over the state. Outside the city you can enjoy the beautiful Pennsylvanian countryside by hiring a car in the city.

Follow the airport road out to route 99. It’ll go under the Mount Nittany Expressway before becoming East Park Avenue which will take you straight into the heart of State College.

Parking at State College is simple with two surface secured lots in front of the terminal. Short term and reduced mobility parking is immediately in front of the terminal doors whilst longer term is to your right.
State College Airport Flight InformationUniversity Park Airport has flights to only three US destinations in the east of the country. Fortunately, all of them have connections to European and British airports so getting to State Park won’t be difficult.
