Norfolk Airport Guide
Virginia Beach’s main attraction is its seemingly endless beach. This is backed by the pleasure beach which at three miles long, is the longest in the world where you’ll find funfairs, amusement arcades, boardwalks, cafes and more. Head out to the First landing Cross which marks where the first settlers came ashore in 1609. Then take a look at the lighthouse which was the first one built by settlers in the New World. A tongue-in-cheek experience can be gained at Mount Trashmore where a ‘mountain’ has been created from compacted rubbish and landscaped as a natural feature. If you didn’t know, you certainly wouldn’t be able to tell.
